The journey from Kansai International Airport to Kyoto Station by the Kansai Airport Express train "Haruka" takes around 75 minutes; Osaka Itami Airport to Kyoto Station takes around 55 minutes by Limousine Bus. From Kyoto Station, Kyoto International Conference Hall is merely a 20-minute ride on the Subway Karasuma Line. The subway is easily reached from the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) platform at Kyoto Station. From the Tokyo area, the journey to K.I.C.H. can be completed in about 2.5 hours.

The Subway Karasuma Line runs north-south through the city, while the Subway Tozai Line runs east-west. Travel through Kyoto by subway is therefore very convenient. Many hotels are located along the subway lines within 15-20 minutes from K.I.C.H.
